We are a New York City and Los Angeles-based nonprofit that creates content and experiences with youth, for youth, in support of our ecological healing. We do this through graphic storytelling projects, immersive experiences with the natural world, and community action.
Youth Internship Programs
Our programs connect urban youth with nature while exploring human impact issues and solutions. Through various artistic mediums, investigative research, and leadership opportunities, our high school and college interns work in a collaborative space where their voices are heard and honored. Beyond their own civic engagement projects, they play a key role in the development of all the content Rising Earth creates.

Luna:
The Graphic Novel
Our team of writers and artists is currently working on Luna, a true story of youth-led environmental justice. We’re connecting the personal narrative of activist, Julia Butterfly Hill, to the environmental issue of deforestation. Our Teen Production Councils provide our team with crucial feedback during our process.
